The Fayetteville School District let teachers decide whether to show President Obama's speech today. Its seeming reluctance to air the speech for all students prompted a Labor Day news conference at which school officials lamented miscommunication about the issue and endured criticism from parents who WANTED their kids to hear the speech. Scrambling school officials insisted No Child Would Be Left Behind who wanted to hear BHO speak. Pleasant switch, yes? Birthers and 'baggers don't yet rule in F'ville, though the Lord knows that Laurie is trying.
Northwest Ark. journalist Chris Spencer tweets that viewership of Obama was high in Fayetteville schools, "most schools in the 90 percent range."
