Mike Huckabee explains why he hates the idea of "government-run" health care.
When government does something, it doesn't worry about how much it will cost. It can borrow the money, print more money or just charge you more in the form of higher taxes. With Obama-care, it will require all three. It will cost more because of the nature of the legislative process.
My recollection is that a government-financed health insurance policy, which Mike Huckabee cashed in for the services of what's probably the biggest single government operation in Arkansas, provided the health care that led to the former governor's dramatic weight loss. So were we getting screwed by all the budget bills, appropriations (remember the midnight bonus he issued briefly to the weight loss doctor) and millions he and all of us poured into UAMS? Just asking.
