Poll shows overwhelming popular support for government health care plan along the lines of Medicare for people under 65. Well, sure.
Too bad people don't have a lobbyist. Or senators that aren't in the employ of the health insurance lobby.
But the problem -- and the wedge issue -- is also illustrated in the poll About three-fourths of those polled are at least somewhat satisfied with their health care. So how do you beat government health insurance? Scare the pants off people about diminished quality.
