A man was shot after opening fire on and fatally wounding a Holocaust Museum guard. MSNBC is reporting that the gunman is an 88-year-old white supremacist. Read all about him. And also here.
Talking Points Memo is all over this. It IS time, isn't it, to revisit the Homeland Security report that said right-wing extremists also pose security threats in the U.S. Wichita, Washington, Arkansas encampments, etc. (Links in this graf fixed.)
UPDATE: Rep. Mark Martin (R-Uranus) Twitters: "It seems that von Brunn has more in common with Rev. Wright and other leftists than he does with George Bush."
You COULDN'T make this up. Hands down, for comparing a blowhard preacher with an anti-Semitic, racist, Holocaust-denying killer, Rep. Mark Martin is today's Arkansas nominee for worst person in the world. I think he's proud.
