RELATED SUBJECT: Sotomayor’s nomination has stirred up the question of whether female judges might decide issues differently than men. The premise of the story, seems to me, reflects a bit the sexism that still pervades our world. Why not consider whether blustery, cocksure, chauvinistic men aren’t more prone to decide some issues like, well, men?
