Fox 16’s David Goins followed up today on the NLR Housing Authority custodian who’s been charged with raping a tenant after using a pass key to enter her apartment.

If you’ve been following it, you know the victim reported the rape some months after it occurred — when she discovered she was pregnant — and criminal charges came after confirmation that the child’s father was likely the accused rapist.

Did the Housing Authority do its job?

You decide. After learning of the rape allegation, Goins reports — the authority moved the man TO ANOTHER BUILDING. Oh, that’s OK.

The Housing Authority officer seems little concerned that a convicted murder and kidnapper who’d admitted raping that victim had been given access to dozens of apartments. Hey, the sex offender had served his time. Wow.
