Three men died in an explosion at a gas storage tank south of Searcy, State Office of Emergency Management has confirmed. The tank was owned by Exxon; the three men were inside the tank cleaning it. Earlier reports said there might be others trapped, but OEM says now that there were no other injuries.

UPDATE: OEM now says it’s not sure who owned the tank, but that it was leased out by TEPPCO, headquartered in Texas.
