Bank branch robbed

Police Sgt. Terry Hastings said Little Rock police, with the help of the NLRPD, have arrested a suspect in the robbery of a Bank of America branch at 6001 Kavanaugh, at Kavanaugh and University, earlier today. Hastings didn't give out the suspect's name. It was the second hit on a BOA branch in Little Rock in two weeks.

UPDATE: Arlandus Amein Singleton, 27, of Sherwood was charged with one count each of aggravated robbery, theft of property and felon in possession of a firearm. A witness said he entered the bank dressed in a hoodie, sunglasses and a bandana over his face, threw bags on the counter and told the teller to fill them up. She did. An officer found the suspect's discarded clothing behind the bank.
