The House has adjourned. I hope for a report soon on the Senate's final business, electing a president pro tem for 2011.
UPDATE: Sen. Paul Bookout of Jonesboro was elected pro-tem. It was a first ballot victory. So much for the prediction I got from one interested party yesterday that a runoff might be required. Votes are not revealed. It was a three-way race because Percy Malone dropped out before the vote, leaving Mary Anne Salmon and Ruth Whitaker in the race with Bookout.
How about it. What were the highlights and lowlights of the legislative session for you? So that you don't have to be registered to comment, I've set up an open-ended survey where you can post your nominations. Click the link here and comment.
