Legislators met today to recommend three constitutional amendments for the 2010 ballot.
Thank goodness they acted first on Sen. Steve Faris' NRA propaganda piece, the amendment to guarantee a right to hunt. fish, trap and "harvest" wildlife.
Phew. Close call. PETA was about to take over the state any minute and make veganism mandatory. Faris' resolution came out first, faster than a speeding bullet.
Update later on the less important stuff.
UPDATE: Speaker Robbie Wills' amendment to provide for smaller "super fund" projects also was approved. The meeting adjourned without a final decision on the third -- likely an amalgamation of proposals to change constitutional limits on interest.
