Take it away.

Food for thought might be Andrew DeMillo's analysis of how Arkansas politicians, including lottery opponents, have hit political paydirt now that it has been created. Two of the first three commissioners voted against the lottery, he notes, but they like those scholarships now.

I say the question has already been answered on Powerball by legislators' comments. Plus, it's a crucial element to stoking revenue.

PS -- A special welcome-to-the-party raspberry to the mousy college leaders who stood in stony silence during the lottery campaign and now salivate over the loot. (Former UA Chancellor John White the exception. He openly backed the measure.)
