Broad daylight holdup UPDATE



Crime alert from UALR:

UPDATE: UALR says two juvenile suspects are in custody.

Crime Alert
On Wednesday, March 25th at approximately 11:35 a.m., two juvenile suspects assaulted a staff member on the sidewalk near lot 8 entrance off Campus Drive West.  They took his cell phone and wallet and ran East toward Fair Park.  The first suspect is described as a black male, approximately 16 years old, wearing a black head covering, a purple shirt, black gym shorts and black gym shoes.  He also had an earring in one ear.  The second suspect is described as approximately 16 years old, wearing a black shirt, white gym shorts, and white gym shoes.

Crime Tips
When you are in parking lots either coming to class or leaving class be aware of your surroundings.
Have your keys ready to unlock your car.
If someone approachs you and asks for your money or property, it is usually best to give it to them not resist.
If you are the victim of a crime, remember as many details of the suspect's description as you can and report it to the police as soon as possible.
