Officers responded to a shooting on the parking lot at 6221 Colonel Glenn and observed several people fleeing the area in vehicles.  A short time later officers responded to a shooting report at St. Vincent Hospital and made contact with Cherine Banks who advised that her two year old daughter, Shamari Grayson, was sitting in the backseat of her vehicle when she drove through the parking lot and shots were fired at her vehicle.  Her boyfriend, Jackie, was driving and his friend, James Arnold Jr., was in the backseat with her daughter and eight year old son, Brailon Banks.  All parties were transported to the Downtown Detective Division for questioning.  Arnold was struck by a bullet in his right shoulder during the incident.  Grayson, who was struck in the head by a bullet, is considered to have life threatening injuries and is listed in stable condition at this time.  Banks, Jackie and Arnold all advised that they were riding through the parking lot after picking up Brailon and Grayson when they observed several people on the parking lot.  As they drove through the parking lot they heard multiple shots and bullets began striking their vehicle.  No one was able to provide suspect information.  The investigation is continuing, no arrests.
