Great idea by Sen. Steve Faris — prohibit lawmakers from going to work for a lottery vendor for two years after they leave the legislature. This is a worthy improvement to the draft lottery legislation.

It would, of course, be better still to propose a two-year ban on ANY lobby employment by a legislator after leaving office.
