Some of us work. Some will head to Oaklawn. For others looking for more rewarding ways to spend the time, you might want to check out the Clinton Library.
The library's new exhibit, "Peter Max Paints America," opens Monday. It's a day of free admission.
The pop artist himself is going to be in town and has a free talk at 7 Monday night, but I'm afraid that event is "sold out."
Some 250 pieces of his work will be on display, as well as entries by local school kids in a coloring contest based on a Max design.
