Speaking of idiocy: Mike Huckabee’s e-mail blast that the stimulus bill was anti-religious has drawn wide attention. I linked it days ago, moments after he sent it to his followers.

Cooler heads did a little research. They note that the bill’s prohibition against spending money on secular higher education projects merely restates non-controversial federal policy on education projects of some 46 years’ standing. Huckabee seems to be just parroting some claptrap from other Religious Right sources.
