Dr. Trent Pierce, the Medical Board chairman critically injured in a bomb blast last week, is improving and may talk by the end of the week, a friend says.
Good for his prognosis, but it's uncertain if he can add anything to the police investigation. The story so far is that the explosion occurred when he went to move a tire placed in front of his car in the driveway of his West Memphis home.
Speculation continues to center on doctors -- a couple of notable ones lead the talk -- who've been angry after loss of licenses to practice in Arkansas. Some of those being reviewed have had brushes with the law on other grounds, sources say. But it is only speculation to link them to the bombing at this point.
