In case you missed it, this week’s Times has news on the case of the mother arrested after her car was stolen, with foster child inside, when she dashed into a daycare to pick up her other child.

The charge is to be dropped. That could clear the way for reuniting the mother with a child that has been in her care for more than a year. The case has created a stir, as it did when discussed earlier on the blog. Many wanted sympathy for the mother. Others did not.
