I park in the Main Street deck and I’ve been noticing how empty it and an adjoining surface lot used by the Peabody Hotel have seemed. I wondered if it was just a seasonal lull, or an indicator of a drop in convention/tourism business. It would appear the latter has something to do with it.

Arkansas Business reports a 10-person reduction of the staff of the Peabody Hotel, the state’s biggest, on account of a lag in leisure and business travel.
