Much as I’d like to sit by the TV with some popcorn and a Mickey’s 40-oz. to watch the LR School Board, I have pleasanter duty. We’ve had house guests from the Whiffenpoofs, the Yale senior male singing group that will perform this evening at 7 p.m. at the Clinton Library. It’s the least we could do to repay all those who housed our daughter when she went on tour with the Yale women’s senior singing group.

Make your own kind of music right here tonight. Reports from the LR school fray are welcome To borrow from the Whiffs’ namesake song, “Lord have mercy on such as we ….”
