In this case, it’s the Fayetteville Trucker’s message that former Attorney General Steve Clark will be named to head the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce even though he backed Lioneld Jordan (not the establishment candidate) in Jordan’s defeat of incumbent Mayor Dan Coody. The coming retirement of the current chamber head, Bill Ramsey, will make the job available.

UPDATE: Clark starts in January according to a note going around to former chamber chairs.
