The ongoing debate about interactive journalism inspires me to try some.
I'm looking for nominations for your favorite single food dish in Arkansas.
McClard's tamale spread (above), would certainly make my short list. Also Peter Pan pie at Trio's. The carnitas burrito at Samantha's Taqueria No. 2. Lucille's burger at Doe's. Eggplant casserole at Franke's. The cheese-and-salami bread at Boulevard. A slab of sweep-the-floor from Iriana's. I could go on. And on.
But, please, send me your nominations. I may use them for an article in a coming issue of the Times.

UPDATE: Great responses pouring in. (You must click "view" button to see them.) My mouth is watering. I also thought I'd pass along John's list of great Arkansas dishes of yore, just about all of which I"ve eaten:
Hominy Enchiladas at the Brown Bag way out on Hwy 10.
Hot Pastrami on Rye with Mustard and Horseradish at Lewis Deli in the old Park Plaza.
Sam Peck Meat Loaf with Tomato Sauce (wish Capi would reveal the recipe).
Trout Almondine (with real trout and almonds) at Luby's (Golden Host?) in Park Plaza.
Chateaubriand at Restaurant Jacques and Suzanne.
Lobster Bisque at Cafe St. Moritz (when Patrick was chef).
Arkansas Tomato, Basil, and Mozzarella Salad at Spaule.
