The battle is over. There’s going to be a full-fledged second med school in NWA even though there have been some doubts from time to time about the quality of Arkansas enrollees in the one medical school.

Coverage of the new school here, including comments that this will help address the nursing shortage. Are existing nursing programs in Arkansas maxed out? Would it be cheaper to expand those than start afresh? Just curious. Just because Roy Ragland says something doesn’t make it so in my book.
