Interesting comment on TPM about how Obama will redefine bipartisanship and "center." It won't be easy. Already, a candidate for a top intelligence position has withdrawn from consideration because, he says, unfair criticism of him from the left.
It's cliched to say, but it's probably true that if Obama disappoints the hard-left and the hard-right now and again, that might be a good sign. I'd prefer, of course, that the hard right be disappointed far more often. But his idea of winning some of those people at the ground level is worth thinking about.
