Now comes the Southern Political Report with three names being mentioned to run against U.S. Sen. Blanche Lincoln in 2010. The names: Investment banker Rick Calhoun, D.C. lawyer/Army officer Tom Cotton and banker French Hill.
By the way, I thought I heard local Republican commentator David Sanders say the other day that the Arkansas business community was tired of Sen. Lincoln. Tired of slavish devotion (estate tax elimination, consumer-punishing bankruptcy laws, protection of farm welfare payments, extraordinary service to the retail sector's interests)? Doubtful.
