No more coal

It ain't football, but there will be music. A coalition of environmental groups will rally on the steps of the Capitol from 1 to 3 p.m. today against a new coal-fired generating plant in Southwest Arkansas.

Louie, you'll be there I hope.

After a recent decision by the Governor’s Commission on Global Warming to halt construction on SWEPCO’s proposed coal–fired power plant in Hempstead County, citizens will gather to ask Governor Beebe to follow the recommendations of his appointed commission and stop the new plant.
