A federal lawsuit has been filed on behalf of Billy Wolfe, the Fayetteville student who says that school administrators there did nothing to protect him from bullies. Earler this year, Wolfe and his parents sued the bullies themselves. This time, they’re going after the Fayetteville School District, and a vice principal who painted Wolfe as an instigator in the days after a story about the boy’s trials and travails appeared in The New York Times. The latest lawsuit says the school administration’s account of a troublemaker who went around picking fights doesn’t square with Wolfe’s disciplinary records.
