The LRPD sends around several news releases this morning from the mean streets -- one about the shooting of a McDonald's employee who tried to intervene to protect a woman in a domestic dispute. The other is about an arrest in the mugging of City Director Joan Adcock. Also, there's a notice about an effort to solve the slaying of a convenience store clerk a year ago.
