Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers rounded up 13 undocumented workers
at the WaCo Manufacturing
boat plant in North Little Rock yesterday. They are being held pending a court appearance. The workers were Mexican and Guatemalan, according to my initial source. ICE statement on the jump.
"Early yesterday, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) special agents served thirteen federal arrest warrants on individuals employed at Waco Manufacturing in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Those arrested face criminal charges for allegedly using fraudulent documents to obtain employment. All were transferred to the custody of the U.S. Marshal's. Their initial appearance is scheduled for July 25 in Little Rock. Questions regarding the charges need to be directed to the U.S. Attorney's Office."
