State revenues dipping


The state's May revenue report shows a dip against the same month last year, and not so much because of the cut in the sales tax on food. In the sales tax category, money is coming in about as expected. But the forecast for corporate income has been overly optimistic. This is, the analysts note, a category that fluctuates quite a bit. Generally speaking, money is hitting the forecast and not much more.
