Did you notice that Oregon conducts its entire election by mail? No voting machines at all? That produces a paper copy of every ballot, of course.
There'll be no runoffs in Pulaski County in two weeks. The only races with more than two candidates are on the judicial ballot. Runoffs there don't occur until November.
On the national scene, another Obama-Clinton split seems likely. The NY Times at last acknowledges -- grudgingly -- that a majority of pledged delegates does not deliver the nomination to a Democratic candidate, so the contest will play on. However, a narrow lead in the popular vote -- counting the Florida and Michigan asterisks -- continues to be unlikely to sway the sufficient super delegates to provide the majority of delegates for Clinton. Certainly not with the media unified in calling for Clinton's funeral.
