Speaking of Republican attack PACs, here’s an even more scurrilous campaign device — the anonymous attack flier. It slams candidates but never directly urges a vote against, thus arguably evading the direct advocacy standard for disclosure of who’s behind the material.

It’s being used against Sen. David Bisbeee in his race for Benton County judge.
