John McCain will have a photo op and fund-raising luncheon beginning at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Capital Hotel. It’s a bargain, for $2,300, you get a photo op as well as lunch. Here’s the invitation. You’ll note, by parceling the money out to a variety of political committees (all working in McCain’s interest naturally), you can legally give him $37,000.

If McCain makes himself available for questions, perhaps someone might want to ask him about Elizabeth Edwards’ statement, exposing his song-and-dance on health care questions. Elizabeth Edwards for president, I say.
