A Cayman Islands newspaper reiterates earlier criticism of Mike Huckabee and of the circumstances that brought him as a paid speaker to the islands, particularly after he'd criticized the off-shore banking industry there. One key point should resonate with Huck watchers.
The question we were asking was why was it necessary for a local organisation, no matter how meritorious, to pay an individual to address our young leaders, when that same individual advocates shutting down one of our core industries (for Americans at least).
We said it before and we’ll say it again, for that individual to accept money from us when he has spoken out vigorously against our financial services industry is hypocrisy pure and simple, and hardly a good example for our young leaders.
WHY DOES HE RUN: Larry Miller offers an idea on Hufffington Post.
