Award-winning actor Sam Waterston (Law & Order) will reenact some of President Lincoln’s most compelling orations as part of “Lincoln Seen and Heard,” a dramatic  performance written and narrated by historian Harold Holzer. “Lincoln Seen and Heard” presents unforgettable words and riveting images to explore the life and legacy of one of America’s most beloved and honored presidents.

By coincidence or design, Abraham Lincoln seemed always to pose for some of his most famous and revealing photographs around the time he delivered some of his greatest speeches. On some occasions, extremely rare during the infancy of American photography, cameramen actually exposed images of the tall leader as he spoke outdoors. The Kumpuris Lecture Series is presented by the Clinton School, the William J. Clinton Foundation and AT&T.
