STATE NEWS RELEASE

ROGERS, Arkansas (December 4, 2007) – Strateline Industries today announced the opening of its new manufacturing facility in Rogers, Arkansas. The new facility’s primary launch product is a fiber-based fabric used in wet wipes, as well as sustainable non-woven products used in the automotive, home furnishing and medical industries. Strateline is located in a 250,000 sq. ft. facility housing multiple technologies that formerly produced non-woven materials. The company is investing $63 million in the facility, which will employ approximately 150 people within three years.

Mike Sitton, Strateline’s Chairman of the Board, joined Strateline’s senior management and Governor Mike Beebe at the announcement.

“We have the opportunity to bring amazing product innovation and a truly sustainable success story to many industries and consumer end products,” said Sitton.

The new facility has a broad range of capabilities and supports multiple fiber-based end products. Strateline’s Rogers facility will also soon produce the first ever sustainably repurposed cotton non woven material. This fiber regeneration technology is made possible through Strateline’s strategic partnership with Sustainable Solutions, Inc. (SSI) based in Wagoner, Oklahoma.

“Sustainability is a key component of our economic development strategy,” Governor Beebe said. “Companies like Strateline, which are able to create new raw materials from industrial by-products, are helping sustain our natural resources while bringing high-quality jobs to Arkansas.”

“We’re proud that we have found a tenant to fill an existing facility in our community,” said Rogers Mayor Steve Womack. “It is a credit to our economic development team that they have brought these quality jobs to Rogers.”

“Strateline is investing in northwest Arkansas, while also investing in the creation of an environmentally friendly product that fits well with the region’s push for sustainability,” said Raymond Burns, President and CEO of the Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce.
