It's all yours

Saturday night open line.

My two cents from NYC: "Speech and Debate," a somewhat dark comedy of Oregon high schoolers coming to grips with sex and adolescence, is a winner. Directed by Fayetteville native Jason Moore in the tiny Black Box Theatre that is a forum for new playwrights, it seems to have the potential to go mainstream. Tightly written and topical, it featured a fine young cast, notably Sarah Steele, currently a college student, who ought to be showing up in TV and movie comedies near you soon.

I've also figured out how to get to Carnegie Hall. Somebody gave us tickets to see Arlo Guthrie with the University of Kentucky symphony. So I hope to be riding on the City of New Orleans shortly.

Finally, if you have a chance to see the Museum of Natural History's special exhibit on water, you'll never buy bottled water again. Below is a photo at the entry to the exhibit. (Great illusion. You don't get wet.)
