The Republican candidates are getting testy. Transcript here. Their counter-punching leads the NY Times version of debate last night. Mike Huckabee declares victory for his refusal to speak ill of other candidates (as if he hasn’t). He continues to insist there’s no health care crisis, which will be news to the 40 million or so without coverage and those who are covered but struggling to pay $1,000 a month and more for family coverage on low wages. And, of course, he had a quip for the occasion. Grab your sides:

“I just want to remind you of something, when all the old hippies find out they get free drugs, wait to see what that costs us,” Huckabee joked.
