A good story from Stephens Media's Washington bureau
examining Mike Huckabee's exaggerated claim for black voter support during his gubernatorial tenure. He did better than many Republicans and a 20 percente vote, if he achieved it, is valuable versus the customary nil. He had diversity in appointments, if not as great as he claimed, particularly in some of the top spots. Naturally, beneficiaries of his largesse defend him. But 48 percent of the vote? No way.
