Dancing with what brung 'em



Wal-Mart rolled out a new slogan today -- "Save Money. Live Better."  It's all about savings. Worked before. Upscaling hasn't. Company release here.

Personal commentary: I'd rather shop in Target. Wider aisles. Less jumbled. More attractive. More geared to my (admittedly limited) tastes in consumer goods. But I don't much like driving miles to Target, either, or fighting a traffic-clogged, giant parking lot of any brand, particularly to find that the item I'm seeking isn't in stock. I'll pay more for convenience and speed and, where needed, knowledgeable sales people. But I'm not a typical shopper. I rarely shop, except for groceries, and most of my other shopping is done on-line.
