It's widely expected that Rupert Murdoch will end subscription-only web access to the Wall Street Journal. Says here that the NY Times is about to give up on its program to require payment for access to "select" Times features. (Maureen Dowd, eh. Paul Krugman and Frank Rich and Joe Nocera? Another matter, but web guerillas have provided workarounds for much of their work.) Will the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette stick with its subscription model? (Not counting the fact that there is free web access to a speedier loading, easier-to-navigate website geared to NWA at www.nwanews.com)
How much would you pay if Ark. Blog went subscription only? Wait. Don't answer that question.
