And speaking of the “health governor,” the Iowa Democratic Party has plenty to say about him here.

Today in Davenport, former Governor Mike Huckabee will hold a health care discussion with Iowans, but will probably avoid discussing his disastrous record on the issue as Governor of Arkansas. Huckabee claims that one of his priorities as President would be preventive health care, but during his time as Governor, Arkansas ranked in the bottom of the list of states for the percentage of its population that smoked, were obese, were uninsured or had not received immunizations.

“Mike Huckabee has a compelling personal story about his own battles to improve his health, its just too bad he did not become a leader in Arkansas on this issue,” said Carrie Giddins, Iowa Democratic Party Communications Director.
