A couple more words on the intervention motion filed yesterday by Little Rock School District residents who don't like the democratic process when it's controlled by black School Board members:
This political document, legally dubious (and reminiscent of the loser of a suit the same lawyer once brought when he had a client unhappy with a School Board decision by the Maumelle charter school) cites no plausible cause of legal action, unless you count dissatisfaction with decisions by a democratically elected Board. And such a filing LEADS the daily newspaper? Hey, DOG, your partiality is showing.
I don't really mind the British model of newspapering, in which story selection, news play, etc., reflect editorial viewpoints. What I mind is the hypocrisy of those who preach one thing (strict separation of opinion and news, for example) and do another.
