An MSNBC reporter combed federal records for political contributions by working journalists. Came up with more than 100 dating back several years. Most gave to Democratic candidates. One Arkansas angle: Liz Walker, formerly at KATV and a long-time anchor and newsmagazine host for the CBS affiliate in Boston, made several contributions to Democratic women senatorial candidates, including Hillary Clinton, in 2005. The station said she was not working in the news department that year.
PS -- A Commercial Appeal fashion writer caught funneling money to Repubs is a former Arkansas Gazette employee. No fooling.
