More documents released. More White House fingerprints on the removal of Bud Cummins for replacement by Tim Griffin. And now, some harsh words from the White House about Cummins. "Lazy," said political director Sara Taylor, who was quite upset by treatment of Griffin -- "hung out to dry w/no heads up."
Here, Think Progress details how Taylor decided to get some payback on Cummins for speaking out.
In the first exchange, Taylor writes to Kyle Sampson, Alberto Gonzales’ former chief of staff, and suggests retribution against Cummins for speaking out about the reason for his firing:
I normally don’t like attacking our friends, but since Bud Cummins is talking to everyone - why don’t we tell the deal on him?
Nice folks up in Karl's shop, wouldn't you say?
UPDATE: Here come the subpoenas, the first for Ms. Taylor.
