We mentioned that the Clinton School of Public Service was trying to line up former U.S. Attorney Tim Griffin as a speaker in its vibrant lecture series. Deed done.

FOR THE RECORD AND FUTURE QUESTIONS: Here’s BBC contributor Greg Palast, suggesting that Griffin got the heck out of the U.S. attorney’s office after he shared information about Griffin’s political activities in Florida with U.S. Rep. John Conyers. Palast obtained Griffin’s infamous “caging” e-mails and has written that they appeared to be a strategy to keep black voters away from the polls in presidential elections.
