Stephens Media focuses exclusively on the Tim Griffin end of the Monica Goodling testimony yesterday. It was not a pretty thing. Not with testimony that Karl Rove’s boy sent cackling e-mail to the White House boasting of getting a lick in the newspaper on Sen. Mark Pryor. Not with mentions of a coverup of Griffin’s reported involvement in vote suppression operations.  Not with a growing body of evidence that lies were told to get Griffin his job without Senate confirmation. Not with Griffin’s decision to let his predecessor Bud Cummins, twist in the wind about allegations of poor performance. The interim U.S. attorney should pack his grip. Nothing else will remove the stain on Justice in Arkansas.

Here, by the way, is text of Goodling testimony. (Corrected.)
