The Tyson Family Foundation
has given $2 million to the University of Arkansas
to endow a professorship in faith and spirtuality in the workplace.
The course will be taught in the busines school. Funny, but I had a job applicant recently surprised by the lack of graduate courses in religion at UA and some of the other major state universities. She was interested in continuing studies while working. If you could figure out a way to work merit pay for preachers into it, you probably could get a whole department started overnight at UA.
