The April state tax report indicates the good times are still rolling. These figures, of course, don’t reflect recent legislative tax cuts.

The April, gross revenue was up 9.5 percent from April last year and more than 7 percent above forecast. It might be that this is from an increase in income tax filings in the month. For the year, gross revenue is 5.5 percent ahead of last year and 1.5 percent above the forecast.
