And note: I’m taking a few days off beginning about 5 a.m. Wednesday, when I head to the airport for  California and a visit with my sister. (And a visit to the Getty Museum, Peterson’s Auto Museum, Laguna Beach, the LA Farmer’s Market and some other good stuff, including Pink’s, El Cholo and other places.). Warwick, short-timer though he is, is going to try to keep the thread alive this week, along with Leslie Peacock. I’ll be packing a computer to LA and hope to check in periodically. But until I return Tuesday morning, things might get slow now and again. I’m counting on the community to fill the gaps.
